Like all Ullkontoret products, this is a 100% Swedish product—made from domestic wool with every stage of processing carried out within the country. The wool is collected on Gotland and in central Sweden, washed by us on Gotland, and then sent to a factory in Halland, where it is carded, needle-felted, and cut into the finished product. We’ve used 50% gray wool from Gotland sheep and 50% white wool from various crossbreeds to achieve the light gray color. This combination works well both in production and as a stain-resistant finished product.
